Hiking pole spikes damage some flooring and outdoor surfaces. The prevent such damage, one can plug in a rubber foot. The spike in the tip of the hiking pole penetrates the rubber foot.
This trivially simple spacer fits between the rubber foot and the tip of the pole, to prevent the spike damage.
This design, printed in PETG, survived the first 26 km hike, will test later on the Camino de Santiago.
