Desktop ornament for the Vim aficionado!

This is a multicolor print, so it requires a printer capable of at least three different filaments/colors. The model is split into three parts to make the color selection easier in the slicer. All colors are present in all layers, so there will be a lot of tool changes.

The parts do not have clearance to allow for printing them separately and then put them together.

Printing instructions:

  • Print the model with the orientation shown in the pictures.
  • Add brim.

The model has been printed on a Prusa MK4S with MMU3. The back has a few edges which provide for difficult overhangs, which do not print perfectly, but they are not visible from the front anyway, and hardly from the back either since they are facing mostly down.

The model is derived from the official Vim logo SVG.
