This is a replacement Chevrolet bowtie emblem for my van's front grille; the original two-piece part broke apart some time ago. It's necessary to remove the front grille to replace the emblem. The original is held on by integral plastic studs and sheet-metal “nuts”; this replacement is designed for M5 socket cap bolts and (on the inside) fender washers. I would assume this same part fits at least other composite-headlight Gen2 vans, and probably the sealed-beam Gen2 vans as well.
This is awkward to print (at least on an FDM machine) because of the angle between the “wings”. I found it works well enough to sit it upright, as it's mounted on the grille, with Prusaslicer's “snug” supports “everywhere”. The supports in the bolt holes came out reasonably cleanly for me when whacked from behind with a pin punch; YMMV.
The design is publicly available on Onshape, and is parameterized - parameters of interest include the overall thickness of the emblem, the height of the bowtie “wings” (with most other dimensions defined in terms of it in roughly correct proportions), the exact dimensions of the counterbores for the bolt heads, and the angle between the two “wings”. As a “Public Document” created by a "Free Plan User" after August 7, 2018, the applicable copyright license may be found in Onshape's Terms of Use; the language there closely resembles the X11 ("MIT") license.
Photo print is in Prusament Ultramarine Blue PETG on my MK3S+.
