Luminous beings are we...not this crude matter

--DAGOBAH--

Celebrate Star Wars Day of May 4th with the most iconic landmark/locale in the series: Yoda's hut on the swamp and jungle planet Dagobah.

Print the crashed X-Wing to complement this diorama!

----

Jedi Master Yoda hid in the uninhabited planet of Dagobah after the events that led to the rise of the Empire. Dagobah is full of plant and animal life, and has a strong connection with the Force, especially the Dark Side.

In The Empire Strikes Back, Luke goes to find Yoda on Dagobah following Obi-Wan Kenobi's advice. There, he is humbled by the ancient master and trains in the ways of the Jedi.

We hope you enjoy this quirky model that replicates the organic, chaotic and very wet swamp (from Wikipedia).

Info & Printing Tips

Tree Supports are MANDATORY for this model, they are part of the model itself. It is intentional to incorporate the organic and random supports to simulate the appearance of the jungle vines and trees. Try tweaking the settings of the organic supports to get a look that satisfies you, such as diameter. If you change the scale, you'll have to change the organic support settings too.

Also, you can incorporate large brims and fuzzy skin to add to the “gritty” swamp look. “Paint-on-fuzzy skin” is helpful to add this effect to only certain parts and not the whole thing. Tweak the settings to get a subtle texture.

With a LED tea light, you can light up the interior of the hut, you may need to remove the supports in the inside or use support blocker in your slicer.
