I designed a simple 3D-printed visual pointer specifically for the UR5e Wrist Camera. This tool helps provide a clear visual aid during precise path programming by acting as a physical pointer extending from the camera's frame. It’s especially useful when manually teaching waypoints or checking motion accuracy.
In high-precision robotic applications—such as sealant application, edge tracing, or part inspection—it can be difficult to see the exact path the robot will follow. This lightweight pointer gives a direct visual reference aligned with the robot’s TCP, making manual verification and teaching more intuitive.
Total length (without the camera): 155 mm.
Total length (with the camera): 167 mm.
Custom-designed to mount directly onto the UR Wrist Camera, not the flange.
Printed in PLA, 0.2 mm layer height, 3 perimeters.
No supports required.
Fully passive – does not interfere with camera functionality.
