Is it possible to print it with bambu lab A1 mini?
Is it possible to print it with bambu lab A1 mini?
@mostafanajaf_3407426 the a1 mini printing area is a bit too small. You need a 21x21cm area, sorry. You can Still try to Split the biggest pieces in your slicer and glue them 🤔
Would love to see ATX motherboard and 140mm fan version of this
@JoshuSonawan_1868502 Yes I will definetly work on an ATX version! And see for 140mm fan I think it will fit, just have to make modification on the front panel fan pieces. I will let you know
had a super fun time building this! Makeyo was very helpful when i had questions. did the frame in ASA and the shell in PLA. had some fitment issues when putting some of it together but i believe that had to due with the difference in material that i used. built for my wife and she loves it. plan on printing multiple colors for the top shell so she can change those when she feels like it.
Fun build, made mine Famicom themed to go with my keyboard. Makeyo was very helpful on multiple occasions! (edited)
DAMNED!! Look sooo good with the keyboard color matching, retro and futurist. SO GOOD GG !
Love the design. Can you include the step files with the stl
@ImranW_1166778 Thank you ! Unfortunatly I don't share project files. You can still modify based on the stl
Thanks for the work, so happy with the result! I printed the internal frame mostly using ABS, followed by a bit of PETG when I ran out of the former, and printed everything else using PLA.
The enclosure is currently housing an AMD 9070 XT and an i7-10700K, cooled down using and AIO mounted on the front panel. My AIO supports two fans but given the size of the GPU, I could only fit one. The airflow is helped with another fan mounted on the back panel. So far, airflow and temperatures look great, I played hours of demanding games and the typical hot spots wouldn't get higher than 60°C at most. I don't have a thermometer, but I'd assume the air inside is below that temperature.
A few tips for those who may begin the journey, that may have save me some time:
- Please please, glue all your nuts! Some of them are located in hard-to-access areas when the whole is mounted, and if you want to replace a single piece, chances are you'll loose nuts inside the enclosure while screwing.
- When you see a place where a magnet can land, don't ask yourself if this is absolutely required or not, just stick one inside. From what I could experience, every one of them is required to some extent, and while you may be fine without some of them, you probably won't achieve the best results if you skip some.
Again, thanks a lot, love it! (edited)
Thank you !! Awesome build
@Namaneo_2657803 I second the glueing nuts 😭 you couldn’t image the struggle listen to this post.
Are Supports needed to print this case? And witch parts need support? Are there parts, printed with special settings? (edited)
@Makeyo_3206084 How to print Frame M4, M3, M2 and M1?
upwards or onto the surface? (edited)
@design I printed them like this (picture). There is support,if you're confident enough with your printer, you can leave the support only for the mounting brackets, the lower part at a slight angle, that should be possible. Personally, I've left support everywhere :D
Everyone’s buying it, no one’s posting photos, so I go. Here’s my frame so far, I’m using light gray Bambu PLA. I’m not worried about the strength of PLA; it feels super sturdy. I’m printing the pink version shown above.
Updates for people who are also building it: the power supply and fan screws will have to be long; the ones that are usually used are too short. I couldn’t get the M3 screws to work for it so I went to store and got some screws. (Got mine at Ace Hardware)
For the button, I used PrimoChill 2.8mm Switch Wire Harness. I didn't want to solder things, so I didn't.
I had to melt holes to get my GPU onto the back plate holder and in the HDD holder.. (edited)
Looove it !! I send you a DM about HDD support, sorry about that I need to publish the fix.
I purchased your pc case on cults3d. the instructions were missing :(. Is it possible to get the .step files to make some mods for myself?
@GeraldRaven_2311235 Hi, sorry about that, I added it to the printables file. You can download it here anyway : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WTFWTeUAjUb57MgdDwSUTVLm1x5fvuLP/view?usp=drive_link
Can we have access to the build instructions without having to buy it first?
@Spadman_112096 Yes, you can access it here : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WTFWTeUAjUb57MgdDwSUTVLm1x5fvuLP/view?usp=drive_link
@Makeyo_3206084 Thank you so much!
I can't seem to get HDD Support Left and Right to fit the 3.5 HDD on FI_B2 in any configuration, I think there's an issue with the models.
@Makeyo_3206084 I have this same exact issue 😭
@StarSmith_2571257 I send you a DM ^^
