This remix of the excellent top hat by PrintSomething splits the corners at a 45 degree miter and flattens the backs of the middle sections. I also replaced some fillets with chamfers for better printing. I also added alignment guides on the lower surfaces of all sections for more secure attachment to the extrusions.
IMPORTANT: I did not change any dimensions to make this design compatible with all the add ons and remixes of the original model. There are sizable gaps between all sections in the original design, which are supposed to be filled with 3mm thick foam tape for chamber sealing. Please do not complain that this design does not allow for ABS shrinkage. This prints to exactly the same size as the original. If you are bothered by this, you may want to scale up the middle sections by 5-6 mm lengthwise.
Each corner requires 2 standard Voron BOM threaded inserts and 2 M3x8 socket head screws to interconnect. I you use the right corner on the front right and rear right corner of the frame, and the left corner on the front and rear left corners of the frame, then the screw heads will be practically invisible from the front of the printer.
This remix is similar to this one (although I did not use those files in making my remix), but I make the STEP file available for further remixing and modifications.
