This is an upgrade for an older model of the FJW Find-R-Scope (lets you see IR and UV).
It used a battery that's not easily available (mercury type). The manufacturer has also made AA and C adapters, but the cost seems high.
This is printed in two pieces without supports. Copper braid is held in place by a pressed in metal sleeve (I used some left-over tube). The braid crosses under the end cap to contact the positive end of the AA. You could probably use some thin un-insulated copper wire for that.
End cap is glued on to the threaded part with E6000.
The function of the spring is to keep pressure against the high-voltage circuit container inside the handle, so it has good contact.
Printed in PLA with 01mm layers. No supports.
Designed in FreeCad.
