This is a mod for the Recreator3D MK6 that turns it into an Automatic Material System (AMS) which is able to automatically feed new filament into your printer when the filament you started the print with runs out.
Purpose: When making filament from soda bottles, the length of the filament you are able to make is dependent on the size of the bottle you make it from. This size limitation can prevent you from being able to print bigger objects unless you are able to pause the print at the right time to load another piece of filament before the first one runs out. The Recreator3D Automatic Material System (R-AMS) is the solution to these problems. Most other AMS units on the market today are not compatible with recycled bottle PET filament, require special software or slicer settings, are not cross comparable with other brands of 3D printers, or are just really expensive. The R-AMS is designed to work with any brand of printer, requires no change to software or slicer settings, and is very inexpensive to make and use.
