The PrintAirPipe servo valve can be used to block or regulate the airflow in the PrintAirPipe system. This is useful if, for example, you want to shut off an air supply or exhaust air path.
The version shown here is the identical 160mm version of the original 125mm servo valve.
The control is implemented via an MG90 servo and an ESP32 board. Both are installed on the pipe segment and powered via a USB-C connection. The ESP32 firmware is based on ESPHome and can therefore be easily integrated into HomeAssistant or other smart home systems.
The valve can then be closed, opened, or partially opened or closed from within the smart home system.
Using a touch switch built into the unit, the valve status can also be switched between open and closed directly on the unit. The current status of the valve is displayed via an LED on the unit.
