I got a new mainboard with a USB-C header. That's a lot more useful on the front panel than the front panel audio to me, so I got https://amzn.asia/d/h0ZvS1F and made this adapter. The NR200 has a separate PCB for the audio jacks so it is easy to remove. There are two posts for screws in the front of the case; this model fits onto those pegs and holds the USB-C socket.
The hole for the audio jack also needs to be enlarged. The 3.5mm socket leaves a hole bigger than the USB-C unfortunately… I made it like a larger USB-C, I might print a plastic ring to fill that gap or even just leave it because it doesn't look that bad.
(I cut the lugs off with a sharp knife. I think this is necessary because there is not enough clearance to the side of the front panel area. This may move around if you really try hard to make it move but for just inserting and removing USB-C cables, should work fine.)
