A BentoBox mod for 9733 blower fan that has stronger static pressure and higher airflow. It is designed to create a vacuum in the tower sucking the air from top to bottom. The idea was to make the intake sound quieter and keep the blower clean and extend its lifespan. The air exits from the blower upwards, at about 45deg angle thus I did not make any fins to restrict and guide the airflow.
INSTALLATION:
Blower is installed with two M3x40 or M3x45 bolts, higher hex nut can be held in place with some pliers or a closed-loop wrench while the bottom hex nut must be inserted into the crevice before the blower, be careful when tightening that one.
Getting the blower in place needs some finesse but that's in order to get good seal for vacuum in case you do not want to use sealants for 100% airtightness. To ease the installation, some filing can be done to the top lip of the blower exhaust.
I did design a new CMAG aswell that is easier to print and swap out the carbon from. It uses two M3x10 bolts directly into the plastic for a more secure and still quite simple way to put the latch on (be mindful of that not to overtighten the bolts). Middle section has some reinforcement for attaching a cable tie or something similar to make it easier to pull the CMAG out from the enclosure.
HEPA and CARBON sections are borrowed from Bento Box 2.0 combination HEPA and activated carbon filter (6x3mm vertical pull orientation) by PURCELL | Download free STL model | Printables.com.
