Battery Battery

Battery holder for small RC planes. There are two .3mf versions, with different levels of clearance in the hinge (0.3mm and 0.4mm). My print setup is pretty sloppy so I try to play it safe, the 0.3 is probably fine for most people.

Print both halves together, as oriented with lid open 180 degrees. The hinge is print in place. Supports needed to support the opened lid side.

Room for:

• (4) spare AA's

• (7) small lithium batteries - mine are 38mm x 20mm x 8mm

I just use a blank space to keep track of charged batteries on the left and depleted on the right. 

By the way, this plane is a joy - cheap, agile, durable. I've spent money and time on many planes, and this thing is by far the best investment of both. The batteries actually give 20+ minutes of full speed flying, so it's rare that I would use more than a few on a trip.
