Music Staff Pen

Creating a music staff, or other crazy shapes, is easy with this five lined pen. Uses five Bic ink cartridges from Round Stic M pens.

Two designs are currently available, a minimalist version which does not enclose the ink cartridges, and a full bodied version that does. For the full bodied version, print both the Grip and Barrel files, and the Cap if wanted. Functionality should be the same on either.

I found it helpful to scrape the inner holes with a drill bit to make the cartridge insertion and adjustment easier. I also filed the grip insert a bit to improve the barrel fit.

The maximum distance between the top and bottom lines is 20mm, which can be reduced by angling the pen while drawing. See the picture above for examples of this scaling.
