This spacer is designed specifically for Modhouse Tungsten headphones.
By default, the Tungsten’s grills are concave by approximately 1.8 mm, with the outer grill border protruding from the headphone body.
This spacer installs between the grill and the headphone body, allowing the grills to sit flush and create a cleaner, more integrated look.
Printing Notes:
For best durability and fit, it is recommended to print this part using PETG or similar materials that offer slight flexibility and strength.
Important Installation Notes:
You must use longer screws. The original screws are 6 mm in length; with the spacer installed, 8 mm screws are recommended.
Screw Fitment: The M4 bolts should pass freely through the spacer’s holes without engaging the threads. If you encounter any resistance, lightly file or ream the holes to ensure a proper fit.
Warning:
Modhouse Tungsten headphones use planar magnetic drivers, which are extremely sensitive and can be easily damaged.
Strong magnets are also present, so avoid working with magnetic metals near the driver area.
Drilling, shaving, or filing near the drivers should be avoided to prevent debris from being attracted to the magnets or damaging the diaphragm.
All modifications are performed at your own risk. The creator of this spacer is not responsible for any damage caused during installation or use.
