I've had a cheap water atomising module for a long time that has not been used for any purpose yet, so I decided to design a DIY humidifier set. It can be used both with and without a PET bottle.

The model is pretty small (only 11 x 6.5 x 2.3 mm), so it can be transported easily. The disadvantage of the size, however, is that it shouldn't be used with larger PET bottles, since the humidifier could tip over.

Can be used for:

  • Humidifying dry places
  • Aromatherapy
  • Humidifying to make an optimal environment for plants
  • Smoke effect for photos, videos, animations...

Now, the atomising disc holder Fusion 360 file is available independently of the humidifier.

Printing

  • Should be printable with no supports (at least my Bambu Lab A1 Mini printed it with no flaws)
    • The possible flaw that may emerge is the failure of printing the inner threads (you can add some supports here if you want to)
  • I recommend printing the PET bottle and atomising piezo holding part with a 100% infill to prevent water from sinking through the model.
  • Printed with Bambu Lab's black and white PLA filaments
