Self Watering Herb Planter

This model is an easy print. I designed it so it would be simple, not consume too much filament as other designs, and still work well with small herbs (like a Basil, Thyme, Oregano, etc.). You really don't need much soil for these, so I made the planter only 55mm tall. It is usually best for plants to water from the bottom, so I added a small fill port, on the outside, so it is easy to access. If you have this near your kitchen sink, you just pour a little water in and you are done. You should be able to easily go several days (maybe a week?) without having to add water.

 I recommend 5 walls / shells for both the insert and container. Infill at 5-10% should be fine. 

After printing, fill with your choice of soil. If you are planting seeds, be sure to top water and cover with plastic wrap for a few days until germination. One you have a seedling or your plant is established, water it using the fill port on the side as needed. 

The pictures show the 55x110mm model, which are the outside dimensions of the container. which are actually 55mm tall by 110x110mm. The insert part is slightly smaller, but I left the filenames the same so you know that they are matching pairs.
