Description:

These blockoff plates protect sealing surfaces from paint instead of having to use masking tape.  They allow easy hanging in a paint booth (either professional or cardboard at your house), reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.  

Will need a 5/16 or M8 bolt to connect the EcoHub plate pieces together through the center (see pictures).

Paint:

I painted my EcoHubs with the following prior to installation and it turned out well.  I chose this readily available paint to allow touch ups vs a 2K epoxy or other spray gun paint.

I painted the actual hubs with the same Grey Primer and Low Gloss black, but used Rust Reformer instead of Self Etch.  In hindsight, for a tougher coating, I would probably use POR15 on the hubs but that would be significantly more $$$.

 

Print Settings:

tl;dr: PLA | 2/2/2 | 10% rectilinear Infil | No Brim

Material: Dealers choice.  I used Elegoo Rapid PLA+.  Any will work.
Layers: 2 Walls/2 top layers/2 bottom layers
Infil: 10% rectilinear
Supports: N/A
Brim: No
