Connect 4

A simple foldable connect 4 game in compact size with compartments to hold the checkers. There are a couple of designs of the checkers to choose from but you can of course easily make your own design.

Printing instructions

I printed in PETG but PLA should work fine. I suggest printing with 5 tops/bottoms to make the walls solid. Print the checkers solid for a nicer feel to them. There isn't much infill anyway so material use is not increased much. You need good bed adhesion for top/bottom part so you might want to use a brim or glue stick. All parts are preoriented for printing and don't need any supports.

Assembly instructions

1. Glue the top and bottom parts together. Pins are only for alignment so apply glue to all mating surfaces but try not to get too much elsewhere.
2. Place the glued part on top of base, lift slightly and insert hinge pins and secure them with a drop of glue.
3. Done! Use the clip to securely close the box. It does not open easily but if you need it to stay closed no matter what use the clip.
