I bought the Ryobi at a thrift store without realizing it was a mini joiner. Finding and pricing R2 biscuits at about 20 cents each was high considering I can make them at 10% of that. I made them using 20% wood filled filament. That probably will not help much for glueing them in but the purpose is basically alignment of the wooden parts. The thickness is 2.4mm (0.095) which is a tight fit. Printing directly on the build plate with squish they can come out fitting loose. I suggest a small frame raft for adhesion and consistent thickness. Now the last item pictured is a three sided sized sanding block. With a raft there will be a raised texture. Use the block with the right size indented R size to move the biscuit across a sheet of sandpaper, R number up. A few strokes across the paper is all that is needed.
The last thing to consider is that I bought the Ryobi used. The cutter may have lost some of its edge due to wear creating a narrower kerf. With a new cutter these biscuits may be a little loose. Adjust Z size slightly to compensate. I used 4 walls top and bottom with 30% infill.
