Critical Mass Bicycle Tag (NFC)

General

This is a Critical Mass Tag which you can attach to your bicycle rack as shown in the photos. It features a small compartment under the lid to store an NFC-Tag. Mine opens the Critical Mass website of the city of Hamburg. Depending on the diameter of the struts, different sizes ranging from 6mm to 10mm can be found in the files section. You can choose between two variants: 

1. CMTag: only Critical Mass Logo on the lid
2. CMTag with Hamburg Logo: an additional Logo of the City of Hamburg is included on the backside of the main body (Moooiiiiiin an alle CM Teilnehmer aus Hamburg!)

If you decide to place an NFC-Tag inside, you can fit any NFC Sticker up to 29mm in diameter and a thickness of 0.8mm. I am using these ones.

Printing

1. Multimaterial mode:
   • the model requires just a few tool/material changes
   • try to print the logos first to achieve better results
   • photos show a multimaterial print using the MMU3 and a MK3S+ with Galaxy Black PETG and Signal White PETG
2. Single material mode:
   • print the body and logo parts separate and try to press fit the logo parts in the cutouts of the body parts
   • resizing the logo parts may be necessary
