I needed to enlarge the tiny hole of the factory hands-free mic and I wanted the finish to still look factory. Looked all around the web for an existing model but didn't turn up anything, so I whipped this up real quick.
Instructions:
Drill a hole to 3/8" and press the part in. It's friction fit and snaps into plastics as thick as ~2.2mm.
The flange lip should ensure that it doesn't pop out on its own. Print it in PETG or better since it has to deal with cabin heat while parked.
I've included the step file in case you need to make it deeper or make other edits. It's roughly the size and shape of the mics that come with aftermarket head units.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
