The butter door on our Frigidaire side by side was forcibly removed when the butter door was accidently ripped out of the fridge door. After I glued the door back together I saw that the blow molded pin was twisted off leaving a jagged piece of plastic.
I made this very simple pin, sanded the damaged plastic and super glued it in place not thinking it would work. It has been about three months and it worked like a charm.
