Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro Wide Bearing Spool Holder

About the design

This 6-bearing, wide spool holder has been created to accommodate filament spools up to 8cm in width. Print 1 of these and keep it on hand for when you are using wide filament spools, from brands such at Hatchbox, 3D Fuel, and Makerbot.  This design contains two individual bearing blocks that utilize three 608zz skateboard bearings in each (6 in total).  

This spool holder is intended for 1KG (max) spools, due to the printer' frame design and strength.

Required Parts

• 6 - 608ZZ roller bearings (7mm x 22mm)

Printing Instructions

• 0.4mm nozzle
• 4-6 walls
• 0.22 layer height
• PLA
• 50% infill
• supports: Yes (TREE auto)

 Print two of the bearing blocks laying down on the print bed. Use TREE supports as they will remove more easily.

The bearing block should easily slide into the filament arm.

*the pry-hole in the top of the bearing block is there to make it simple to remove the block from the spool holder body.
