Spiced up my previous model to look more like a Recon MkII.
V5 is the same length as the original model, and V6 is longer, meant to cover up the slot the slide moves on when closed.
the hardware i used is a brass spacer and some screws.
Used two spacers and 4 screws.
I added some connectors in the Bambu slicer, but one seems to error. Prints fine, but cannot export wit the connetors, so I am also including the bambu labs A1 .3mf file. It has the model already sliced with some added modifiers for a 100% fill strip for the sled attachment (for strength)added some connectors for the split. I also hand painted some supports to help the diagonal wall print a little better. The model in the pic had supports for the edges but i noticed some gunk in the middle.
I also exported the sliced model without the connectors; i believe the screws and standoffs will be enough (shrug maybe?) but wanted to make it easy to start. It also comes with a .3mf file with the modifiers adding a 100% infil on the sled connection.
The author remixed this model.
Made it look a little more like a Recon slide. Also added some more supports, rims, and a strip of 100% fills with modifiers in the .3MF file.
