SAAB 900 Fuel Sender Adapter Housing

When replacing the original SAAB 900 fuel sender with a Scandix replica, the original plug no longer fits — you'd normally have to cut and replace it.

To keep the original wiring harness intact, I designed this housing. It allows you to remove the socket from the original fuel sender and reuse it as an adapter to connect the old wiring to the flat blade connectors on the Scandix unit.

You'll need to print two copies of the housing. After cutting the socket out of the old fuel sender, place it between the two halves and glue them together.

I used ABS for my build, since the housing doesn't come into direct contact with fuel, and bonded the components using acetone.
