The plate has for purpose to hold in place cables on the FRA600 from Askar. It uses the finder's screw holes to stay in place. Since the FRA600 has only one finder spot, and plate is retained on one side only, but it doesn't affect too much the general structure.
Since these pieces are intended to be used on a telescope, it is recommended to use PETG for the printing. I suggest to use different colors between the arch/platforms and the anchors for contrasts.
The anchor platforms are separated from the main arch for 2 reasons :
I didn't use the traditional “clip” design because cables are all different sizes, making a design that works well pretty much impossible. This horse-shoe design, however, adapts easily to pretty much any cable size up to 6mm diameter.
The holders may fit very thigh in the anchors. if they are unusable after print, you can gently sand their exterior side at the base until they slide easily. However, please take note that they must not become loose, or else they will lose their purpose of holding things in place.
You will need :
First install each anchor platforms on each extremity of the arch using the m2 screws and nuts.
Install the assembled arch on the scope and fix it using the finder screws.
Finally pass the cable holders around the cables you need to fix and slide the holders in the hinges.
