This is a Oneplus 6 smartphone magnetic case. There are already some oneplus 6 cases available on the internet, such as https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3702781 , https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4462273 or https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3703882 but none of them perfectly fits; other cases like https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-print-models/hobby-diy/electronics/oneplus-6-case-design-3d-print-model or https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-oneplus-6-phone-case-blank-79736 are either impossible to 3d print without huge changes in design or are slightly too wide if printed in flexible filament (maybe they are intended to be printed with PLA or PETG).
This is a complete redesign and reverse engineering of both all and none of the above.
The case is intended to be printed in flexible filament (I've used filaflex40 but other similar may work), without brim or support of any kind. A couple of turns of filament on the upper edge do not stick and fall to the center of the plate; this behavior is expected, just remove them with pliers when printing is finished.
The peculiarity of this case and what distinguishes it from all the others is that it is a magnetic case. In the thickness of its base a housing for a metal disc 3 cm in diameter and 0.3 mm thick is obtained. The included g-code is scheduled to pause in the exact layer of the print so that you can put the disc inside its hole; when you resume the print the last three layers of the base will cover the disc so that it will remain included within the thickness. The metal disc sold with this device https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B0751WN885 has the right dimensions, otherwise if you have a wider or thicker metal disc you'll have to modify the stl and reschedule the pause in the gcode.
In the last picture you can see a magnetic souvenir from Lipari (Sicily, Italy) attached to the case.
Enjoy and happy printing.
