Rycote / Radius Shock Mount Bases

Fixed vertical angle mounting bases for Rycote Lyre or Radius Hoop microphone shockmounts. 

Top holes accept M3 heat-set inserts. Bottom holes accept 3/8-16 inserts.

3 versions are included:

1. Single-pocket for very light mics such as Line Audio or active capsules
2. Triple-pocket with outer pocket centers 25 mm apart (same as Radius RAD mounts)
3. Triple-pocket with outer pocket centers 45 mm apart (same as Rycote INV-6)

Indexing marks along the bottom for easy angle alignment:

• Tallest marks are at 0, 90, 180, 270 deg. 
• Second-tallest are 45 deg rotated from tallest marks 
• Shortest are 10 deg rotated from their immediate neighbor (convenient for 20 deg angle omnis, 110 deg ORTF cardioid, etc.)

These print well in both PLA and PETG. I print either version at 0.20 mm layer height using scarf seams, 20% Gyroid infill, and in their “normal” orientation. 

When printing in PETG, you may notice that the top of the 3/8 bottom hole comes out rough due to unsupported overhangs. I don't care about this (nor do I use supports) because that's going to be hidden by the insert anyway. If this bothers you, print on the top face. You may need to do this anyway if you have adhesion issues in PETG as the contact area is very small without a brim.
