If you can't reach the roof window handle and you have a Velux window, you'll love this extension.

It is similat ro spare part no- ZOZ 095

I made it in 3 sizes.
Size M = 200mm
size L = 250mm
XL size = 400mm

If you want to create your own length, you can use the Onshape project to copy this and make your own adjustments.

I printed the handles with variable height to make the rounded transitions smoother with a 0.4mm nozzle

Hook and pins for 0.3mm height

The handle consist of 3 parts.
* top
* middle
* bottom
with the top and bottom being the same, so print it twice.
To make it easier to glue, I added a "Handle pin", glue it into one part of the handle, then slide the middle part of the handle parts onto the pin and glue them together. Then cover the whole thing and glue the last part of the handle. Like a sandwich.

The XL size handle didn't fit on the bed even diagonally so I had to cut it in half. I made a lock on it to make it stick better and also to make it stronger.

That's why the handle is glued together from multiple parts.
First glue the middle part of the handle, that's the one with the toothed lock.
Then continue as with the previous shorter handle, with the upper and lower parts cut in half again, but this time without the lock.

I took the help of small clamps to glue the parts together so that they would press together nicely.

Finally, I also secured the hook pin into the handle with glue.

I used regular instant glue.

Hopefully you will find this extended arm useful too ;)
