I've recently built myself a larger hobby desk with drawers for storing various painting related items. Having just starting to get comfortable where I like things as I use it more and more, I did not want to commit to permanently attaching my desk lamp to the desk. The trouble being that I was unable to find a clamp for my desk lamp that was large enough for desk size.
This clamp has been in use daily for about a month as hasn't moved a bit. As seen in the pictures its under quite a bit of stress and hasn't failed. I think the stress is largely due to the felt pads I have attached it allowing for compressive force (was worried about marring up the desk). The cap was attached with a threaded insert and an m4 bolt to allow it to spin "freely" when clamping down.
Printed with 4-5 perimeters in PETG in the orientation as shown. No supports required. Desk show is approximately 5.5inches tall (140mm).
