The MiniXRP uses parts from the standard XRP kit to create improved functionality in a smaller form factor. The chassis creates a zero-point turn radius and it utilizes and differently optimize hex-rail connection system with modular and easy-to-use attachment methods. Among these new attachment methods is the SnapBolt-HexClip system. This hexagonal, snap-fit hardware ecosystem standardizes and simplifies connecting XRP attachments and is used all over in this make. The SnapBolts allow for detachable core and individual motor mounts so that the parts can be repurposed in other kinds of XRP builds as well. The SnapBolt system is also used to bring PenBot to life.

PenBot is a rack-and-pinion style drawing actuation mechanism. It features a rotationally compliant pinion translating to up and down “springiness” for good ground contact and a snap-back action. PenBot can accomodate a variety of drawing tools ranging from pens up to Expo markers.

Also included in this post is the MiniAwning and alternative servo arms both with Lego studs for custom Lego creation alongside the XRP. The MiniAwning also is lined with hex-holes compatible with the SnapBolt ecosystem.

All models come with custom, break-off support material and can be printed at default settings. All models should be in intended printing orientation upon being brought into slicer.
