Inspired by Russian Fabergé Eggs, many of which could open up to reveal a surprise inside.
The Art Deco elements on the outside give it a level of detail that is achievable with a FDM printer and isn't quite as over-the-top as some of the original Faberge Eggs.
This puzzle is made more difficult to solve because the maze is partially hidden and must be navigated by feeling the path to access the inner compartment.
No supports are needed if the parts are printed in the default orientation.
I recommend an inner (and outer) brim for most parts.
Use a 0.4mm nozzle and a 0.14 or 0.16mm layer height. The inner walls part can be printed with a greater layer height because of the low detail.
The parts are designed to be printed separately and then snapped into place. But depending on your printer tolerances, you may need to use some glue. I found I had to glue the 6 tiny gems.
