Mitutoyo Caliper Wall Mount

A mounting bracket designed specifically for a Mitutoyo Digimatic Caliper. It likely could be used for other calipers as well, but you might need to adjust the position of the posts so that they hang vertically as the Mitutoyo does.

This bracket is designed to maximize convenience; you just gently lift and pull the caliper off the posts. 

I used to have my Mitutoyo hanging from a hook next to the 3D printer, but it was in danger of being knocked to the floor, and these are expensive calipers so I decided to make something a little safer yet still handy to grab at a moment's notice.

It has recessed screw holes to reduce the chance of rubbing metal on metal when hanging or retrieving the caliper. The square holes are simply to reduce the amount of filament needed. 

Hopefully this will be useful to others who need to grab their caliper many times a day!
