These cauldrons are designed to replace the cardboard cauldrons in the boardgame Whirling Witchcraft. I have created a custom “brewing surface” in case you have lost the original ones or want to expand the game to a higher number of players. However, the “brewing surfaces” that comes with the game still fits. In addition the cauldrons doubles as a cube storage solution when not playing the game.

Print the cauldron upside down and enable supports for the ledge as well as the handles. There is no need for supports for the bottom of the cauldron since it is easy to bridge. The fuzzy skin setting in Prusaslicer adds a nice touch of cast iron to the model. I printed my cauldrons using normal black PLA using this setting. The lid is designed to be printed using a flexible filament. I printed mine using eSuns natural “eLastic 3D filament”. A textured print surface is recommended for a nice tactile finish. The surface STL is ready for multi colour prints, just split the STL into parts.

Both the cauldron and the lid are designed using Onshape. I have also made a box insert  for these components available at https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/128866-box-insert-for-whirling-witchcraft and a custom mroe compact player board available at https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/134182-compact-player-boards-for-whirling-witchcraft. The files for the arcana counters seen in the larger picture is not designed by me but instead available at https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/19005-locking-ironsworn-status-counter.
