Vented case for Raspberry Pi 4 and Pi camera

Printed in Prusament PLA. If you want a tighter fit for the camera holder dowel pin, wrapping with a few layers of scotch tape works well.

edit 05/02/2025 - updated lid and case to fix position of camera ribbon slot, add cut-out for GPIOs, widen I/O cutouts on case and address fitment issues. Checked fitment using the rpi4 camera model from user soswow on thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2376448) and the RPI 4 model by Print_Byte (https://www.printables.com/model/727545-raspberry-pi-4).

• The case lid and body have added ventilation slots
• The camera mount has been attached to the body instead of the lid to allow the lid to be printed without supports
• Where the camera mount had overhangs there are now ~45° tapers to allow the base to be printed without supports.
• The camera holder is mirrored
• The dowel rod lengthened to fit the new mount position and reduced in radius to allow a ~.3mm clearance
• A cutout has been added to the lid for access to the GPIO headers
• The camera ribbon cable slot in the lid has been re-positioned and the size changed so it lines up with the connector on the board
• The I/O port cutout in the case has been widened to a single large square to allow e.g. bulky HDMI-mini adapters to fit.
