MEDIUM FORMAT CAMERA - VERSION 3

Hi everyone! This is the third version of the Medium Format camera. It is designed for Mamiya Press lenses. It shoots 6x6 and 6x4.5 formats. Fully printed in Prusament PLA. 

In addition to the 3D printed parts, you will also need the following:

• 4x DIN-7991 M5x12mm countersank screws (+4 extra for handle/strap hooks/other accesories)
• 2x DIN-912 M5x20mm protruding screws
• 8x M5x6x7 threaded inserts (6mm long, 7mm in diameter)
• 1x DIN-916 M3x6 set screw
• 1x 1/4"-20 UNC nut
• 4x magnets (3mm height, 6mm in diameter)
• 1,5mm thickness black foam
• 2mm (or thinner) thickness methacrylate
• Red transparent plastic
• TTArtisan 28mm viewfinder
• JCC shutter cable
• Matte black paint (recommended for painting the inner faces of the “Inner Body” parts)

IMPORTANT: The interior of this camera has been designed taking into account the dimensions for the Mamiya Sekor 100mm f3.5. The lens fits without problems in the extended and collapsed modes. I have not tested the camera with other Mamiya Press lenses, but I have colected geometrical information about the rest of compatible lenses from the internet and they should attach to the camera without problems/clashes. The inner dimensions are optimized for the 100mm f3.5, so I guess there is a chance of vignetting when using other lenses (mainly longer focal distances since optical elements are typically further away from the focal plane: Mamiya Sekor 127mm, 150mm & 250mm).

If you print and use the camera with other lenses different form the 100mm f3.5, please let me know if you find any issue. I will be updating this post with the confirmed compatible lenses.

[Edited on November 10th 2025: "Inner_body_combined_LH" and "Inner_body_combined_RH" uploaded. Those files are the combination of the halfs of the inner body, as requested by some of you. There is no place for the magnets, so if you want to use the 6x4.5 adapters they should be hold in place using other methods]
