📄 Meshtastic Winter Solar Mount – 67° Tilt Bracket

Currently, my Meshtastic RAK is running smoothly with a 5V 10W solar panel and 3×18650 Li-ion batteries — even during bad weather conditions. The setup uses the 67° solar panel bracket shown here, which is specifically designed for wintertime operation with a +15° latitude offset, ensuring optimal solar performance even in low-sunlight seasons.

✅ Compatible Panel

This bracket is matched to the following panel:

P.S. I use the one with DC5521 plug

🔧 Mounting Details

The panel is attached using an 11 mm photo threaded screw (see photo), which is inserted through the center hole from the rear side. This ensures a simple, solid, and flexible mount.

🛠 Recommended Print Settings

📦 Case Compatibility & Credits

There are also compatible mounting plates available for these type of waterproof cases — I highly recommend checking out the excellent designs by @Rinodods: Rinodods | Printables.com

His collection includes smart, pole-mount-ready base plates for the next larger case size.
Proper credit goes to Rinodods, especially for the pole-mount concept.
The version I published for this case (150×100×70 mm) builds on his idea and is now released under a remix-friendly license.
