I made this because I couldn't be arsed to go to the shop and by bolts for the hose guide.

It's designed to be very snug.  If you have any elephant's foot it'll need shaving off before it'll fit.

hold the two halves together and push them into where you'd put the bolt.  It's snug enough on mine that I'm not sure I'll get it out again, no glue or melting required!  Rollers still spin enough to guide a hose or cable.
