Clip together (super glue also recommended) mini pc racking system.
Uses cut-up old coat hangers and about a day of your time to make some cool shelving for your Kubernetes home lab.
Brim recommended
Instructions
- Print all the parts you need - see pictures (illustrated: 2x columns high, 3 columns wide)
- Cut up and un-bend enough wire coat hangers to make all the slats you need
- Cut coat hangers to size by building the column + spacers you need, insert wire all the way through the assembled column and the spacer tool. Then cut flush
- Lay out wires and push with straight edge, cut any outliers
- push everything together: columns go on the edges, bare wire for slats. Center hole in block should all be on one side and are used to accept a brace made by bending an extra coat hanger wire
- Optional but recommended: glue all joints
- Attach to optional base by push-fit
Happy organizing!
