This egg comes in both 1 and 2 piece versions.

My print files are optimized for print speed, quality and time, but not strength. If you want these to be rugged, use 2 perimeters and 15% infill everywhere. The roof of the egg benefits from supports, as does the base. The 3MF files are from PrusaSlicer. Not all features may be recognized by other slicers. The GCODE is for a Prusa MK3S+. I would not use it with other printers.

I originally had minor problems with gaps on the inside of the bottom half of the egg at the seams, so I increased the perimeters to 2 on that part and made other minor edits to the 3MF and GCODE files.

The two piece egg clicks together. To separate the pieces, grab them by the textured parts (they're stronger), and wiggle and pull at the same time. It's harder to separate them than put them together, so if they seem tight as you first put them together, stop, then sand the rim of the bottom piece.

The difference between the halves of the egg being too loose and too tight is just .15mm. Print the same egg on the same printer with the same settings and different filaments and you may have a big difference in fit. I've done my best to get the pieces to fit well after printing. If the fit is way off for you, you can try adjusting the fit using the XY Size Compensation feature in PrusaSlicer. A positive number will make it tighter, negative looser. You can also do a test print where you only print the first 20mm of the top half and the last 20mm of the bottom to learn how they fit before you print the whole thing.
