V1.1

V1.1 has some minor updates based on some feedback.

All models have been tweaked to ensure there's plenty of clearance for the build plate, there have been reports that some users find that the wiper pushes up the corner of the build plate. This has been addressed so that the build plate clears.

The model with the M3 Bolt has had the hole size adjusted to make threading the bolt into harder materials a bit easier.

There is also now an option to use an M3 hex nut (DIN 934) with the M3 bolt for a really secure solution for those without heatset inserts.

V1.0

This is a remix of @PCR_178847's nozzle wiper, there are 2 versions, one with the hole for the M3 bolt like the original and one with an option for an M3 Brass Heatset Insert (common M3 heatset inserts, the one I used is the one used for VORONs but most should be okay.

It uses the same silicon wiper as the Bambu A1 and an M3x8 Cap Head Bolt for either variation.

I have a model of a purge bin you can use with this wiper, please take a look!

@PCR_178847's instructions were great so see those below or on their original model.

Warning: You will loose 1mm of Y Travel at the X location of the brush due to the part cooling fan.

  • Printed part
  • Heatset insert (if choosing that model)

V1.0

I changed this a bit as I found the cut out on the original for lifting the corner of the build plate was too small, I found having the part angled made getting the build plate off much easier. I added the hexagon pattern for aesthetics and changed the shape slightly for a larger area around where the nozzle brush sits.
