Jeep Wrangler CB Antenna Retainer

I have a Jeep JK with the CB antenna mounted to my license plate (UltraMount), and because my Jeep is lifted (4" with 35" tires), the antenna hits the garage door when I park it. If I forget to pull the antenna down before I close the garage door, the antenna gets broken off.

This little retainer attaches to the side of my hard top and pulls the CB antenna down to about 1" above the top of my jeep, so I can enter the garage without problems.

Pretty easy to print. I set the overhang threshold for the supports to 85 percent. I have actually successfully printed it with no supports, but it comes out a little better with some supports.

There are two options: Plain or w/ Jeep grill. The Jeep grill looks pretty good, but it's pretty tiny, so it may not be worth the extra printing time. It looks much better printed with a 0.3mm nozzle, but it's okay with a 0.4mm nozzle.

To mount the retainer, I picked up the following hardware from Home Depot (all stainless steel):

• 2 x #6-32 x 1/2 in. round head combo machine screws
• 2 x #6-32 cap nuts
• 2 x #6 lock washers
• 4 x #6 flat washers

I didn't add any kind of gasket...I'm hoping that the PLA pressed against the plastic hard top will provide a waterproof seal. If not, I'll find some sort of material to use as a gasket.
