This is a replacement part for a type of door catch that's a spring loaded ball. The part that retains the ball is adjustable for tension with threads, and the cheap metal one broke because the material was too thin.
The one I made had thicker walls and a lip that grips better on the ball. Also it costs next to nothing and in stores I had to buy a complete set each time it broke (happened twice before I printed the part). This one has been holding for a year with daily use (pantry door).
Printing :
Make sure the slotted side faces up while printing. I think F360 flipped the stl.
Use enough walls to make it solid, and a layer height 0.15-0.2mm to print the threads correctly.
