I have always loved woodworking but in a small apartment in NYC with 3 kids there isn't much time or space for woodworking tools. So I did the next best thing I combined my desire to do some woodworking with my 3D printing and came up with a 3D printed pen using the same kits wood turners would use to make pens but no wood chips involved.

You simply print these out and use them in the kits instead of using what they call blanks. You glue them in space over the copper tubes press fit everything together according to the instructions and you have a nice pen.

Example Slimline pen kit you can purchase (can be any kit that says slimline for these)

I would suggest to print these standing up and enable internal and external brim for stability.
You may need a clamp to get the tubes into the 3d printed parts but a little sanding before hand helps as well.

I have also included the Fusion file with the blank version of these so others can make their own designs.
