Crows are kind of special around here (though this is probably more like a raven..). I wanted a silhouette to put on a board at top of an arbor in our yard and found this design by Jura Švébiš here on Printables. But gluing the shapes to the arbor was not a practical approach. Several of the pieces were unattached from the main part. Mounting with screws is also more practical where I wanted to hang this so I added provision for 4 screws.
If using this outdoors, print in a filament type that can handle UV and weather (ASA or PETG ideally – I used ASA-CF).
There are two versions, one with the screw holes inset by 2mm and one without the inset should anyone want to use with the printer-bed surface outside.
All of the remixing was done using features of the OrcaSlicer.
There is also a backing disk designed for this at https://www.printables.com/model/1261234-round-background-or-moon-to-back-crow-and-raven-mo
The author remixed this model.
Attached several pieces that were floating from the main sculpture and added 4 holes for screws (black screws of course) to make it more practical for mounting, particularly outdoor mounting.
The beak and eye shape is more like a raven than a crow, so there is another version modified to look more like a crow at https://www.printables.com/model/1261216-crow-outline-for-mounting-less-like-a-raven
