Grinding plate for aircraft fuselage plane grinding
After gluing in the motor mount, the fuselage must be adjusted to fit exactly parallel to the spinner. This is what this grinding plate is for. Works perfectly.
After gluing inside with 2-component epoxy resin mixed with cotton flakes, it happens that the resin runs into the area where the engine should lie flat. Crap, what now? I've already tried to remove the excess glue with the Proxxon milling cutter, but it doesn't work so well. In the narrow fuselage you can't really see where you are removing material.
A suitable plate was printed with the 3D printer and covered with sandpaper. A long screw is mounted in the hole so that the sanding plate can be turned with the cordless screwdriver.
