Just a quick design for an indoor or outdoor planter. A complete lie, since the first one took ages to figure out, but this one was quick! It is equipped with bypass watering channels, reservoirs and air-pruning features to help keep your plants healthy, wealthy and wise.
The pictured planter was printed using the 150W180H gcode provided in the downloads section.
It is designed to use a few solid layers on the bottom and then a continuous and unbroken profile all the way up the part. Prusa and Slic3r call this vase mode, while Cura calls it spiralize.
Cura also has a setting for top/bottom flow, which defaults to 80%. This will result in a base that is not water tight, so make sure this is set to 100% for this part.
You should be able to scale the models between the various sizes I've uploaded, but you may lose the bypass channel welds at some point. If you have a specific size you would really like to print, just let me know and I can configure a new file.
