Clips into the locking nut, the original “plastic” piece needs removing from shift boot, this inserted and cable tied in from inside-out. Then reversed and installed over the shifter, the printed part then slides on the locking nut and “locks” in place.
Sizing wise it is in particular designed to work with FL5 gearknob but I'm sure will fit/work with others.
