Designed a mount for the Yaesu FTM-500DR/510DR for a Model 3/Y Tesla. My Tesla is older with the flip up charging tray so I needed something the tray would clear hence the offset. There's a 18mm hole that will allow an M5 thumbscrew to fit through and slide to allowing quick removal of the radio if you're worried about theft. Use 3M VHB tape to adhere it to the back of the display. There's also a lug you can pass a zip-tie through and over the display arm if you want to go that route.
You may bump the mount/radio if you have long legs but this works for me.
If you want to use a thumb screw for easy removal, you'll need an M5 with a knob diameter no greater than ~16mm and a depth of 12mm. A 10mm M5 will work but a 12mm works better. Here are the ones I bought on AMZN.
Printed vertically with organic supports (.4mm nozzle @ .2mm layer height)
I may publish a left flush mount for those that don't have the flip up phone tray and a center mount for those who want it centered. TBD. This also may work for the FTM-300DR and other radios that use an M5 screw.
